New Object Properties

Get greater control of your jpeg and png elements with the new object properties. Quickly scale large elements, adjust the hue, brightness, contrast, saturation, and blur of your jpeg and png’s. You’ll love the added control you now have over your objects.

The image below is a perfect example of how the new object properties can be used.

The watercolor jpeg added to this template was originally a pink hue. We used the Hue slider to quickly and easily change it to blue – a process that previously had to be done in Photoshop or another editing application. I’m sure you’ll find tons of uses for the new object properties and you’ll be able to take your templates to a whole new level.

How to use the new object properties

The new object properties work on jpeg and png elements. When a jpeg or png element is selected on the current template, you’ll see a new Object Properties button in the toolbar. Click it to open the object properties dialog box. You can grab and drag the box around anywhere on the screen. Move the sliders for the properties you want to adjust. You’ll see the changes live on the template. When you’ve found the settings you like, just deselect the object. You’ll notice the Object Properties box will disappear.

If you want to reset the properties, click the Reset all button. The properties will revert to their default values.

Some object properties are not adjustable on my jpeg or png

The new object properties settings are not available on extra large images. If the object properties are disabled, you will not be able to adjust the settings on the current image. These settings require significant memory, therefore, we’ve limited them to certain image sizes.

Note: this feature is currently in beta and available to sellers only. Your customers will not have access to object properties at this time.
